Kelsey Van Der Tuin

Registered Psychologist

Kelsey is a registered psychologist who works with children (8+), adolescents and adults. She has a particular interest in anxiety disorders and also works with clients experiencing depression, stress and burnout, trauma, emotion regulation difficulties, self-esteem concerns, adjustment and life transitions, school or workplace difficulties, and more. She enjoys helping people better understand themselves and the patterns that influence their thoughts, emotions and behaviour.

Kelsey holds a Master of Professional Psychology and began her career in community services, spending eight years as a youth worker supporting young people and their families. This experience continues to inform her work as a psychologist, particularly her emphasis on connection and collaboration.

Her therapeutic style is warm, practical and down-to-earth. She tailors therapy to each client’s individual needs and goals, drawing on evidence-based approaches including:

Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (TF-CBT)
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)
Motivational Interviewing (MI)

Kelsey is committed to providing an inclusive and respectful space where clients feel comfortable being themselves, while working towards meaningful change.
