Jose Martinez-Loyman – Senior Registered Psychologist

Jose is a Senior Registered Psychologist who provides psychotherapy and psychological assessment services to children, adolescents, and adults. His work is grounded in a holistic, evidence-based framework, integrating multiple therapeutic modalities to support clients in understanding and navigating their experiences.

He works with adults across a range of presentations, offering a reflective and collaborative space to explore emotional, interpersonal, and behavioural patterns. Jose’s approach is tailored to each individual, with careful consideration of their personal context, values, and pace of therapy.

He is known for his calm, respectful, and collaborative approach, creating a therapeutic space where clients feel safe and heard. Jose values the therapeutic relationship as central to the therapeutic process and works collaboratively with clients and families, supporting them at a pace that respects individual needs and circumstances.

In addition to his work with adults, Jose has a particular interest in working with children and adolescents aged 6–16. He offers comprehensive psychological assessments to explore cognitive, emotional, behavioural, and learning profiles, with the aim of providing clear and meaningful insights that can inform support across home and school environments.

Having completed a Bachelor of Clinical Psychology in Nicaragua, Jose is fluent in both English and Spanish and offers services in either language.
