Isobel Kelly
Registered Psychologist
Isobel strives to provide a warm, safe and affirming space for all identities, and she values an individualised and collaborative approach to therapy and assessments. Her approach is neurodiversity-affirming, LGBTQIA+ affirming, trauma-informed and weight neutral. Isobel is neurodivergent (Autistic & ADHD), and her pronouns are she/her.
Isobel has experience in the treatment of all types of eating disorders, eating difficulties and differences (including sensory sensitivities), trauma and complex trauma, anxiety and depression, and she particularly enjoys working with Autistic and ADHD individuals who are seeking support. She enjoys supporting clients to make meaningful changes in their lives by facilitating a deeper understanding of themselves and their needs, and discovering what works with their brain, rather than against it.
Isobel has training and experience in the assessment of Autism and ADHD in adults (including internalised/highly masked traits). She draws from her training in Schema Therapy, EMDR, and ACT therapies, and adapts these approaches to suit each individual client. Isobel is an ANZAED Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician.
Outside of work, Isobel enjoys spending time with her dog, reading and buying books, and listening to Taylor Swift.
