Michael is a second-year Bachelor of Psychotherapy and Counselling student practitioner who utilises client-centred approaches to help people form a deeper connection to self, others and the world around them.

Michael holds a deeply rooted belief in the inherent worth of every individual seeking therapeutic support. Grounded in his core qualities of non-judgement, compassion and curiosity, Michael approaches the therapeutic process with the belief that each client possesses the innate resilience and capacity for recovery and self-growth. Michael aims to hold a safe space where clients can feel free to explore their thoughts, beliefs and emotions to address mental, emotional, physical and spiritual roadblocks.

Michael has completed training in Internal Family Systems (Level 1), Compassionate Inquiry and is a Conscious Connected Breathwork practitioner trained under Australian Breathwork Association (ABA) standards. Michael is currently undertaking training in support of psychedelic-assisted therapy (PAT).

In his downtime, Michael enjoys staying active, being in nature, meditative practices, lifelong learning, Brazilian jiu jitsu and creativity through music. Michael is also passionate about social engagement having spent time volunteering with mental health peer support, homelessness, childhood learning and palliative care services.
