Dan is a clinical psychologist who provides psychological assessment and psychotherapy to school aged kids and teens, as well as young adults up to 25 years of age. His therapeutic framework focusses on helping clients to gain greater insight into the underlying ideas and patterns that influence all aspects of a client’s life, including the challenges that have led them to psychotherapy.

Dan has a warm and gentle approach, working together with clients to treat a range of emotional, behavioural, and relational difficulties including anxiety, depression, and disruptive or challenging behaviours. Dan aims to support individuals and families to clarify and manage their challenges, to work with them towards symptom relief, and to empower clients to live fulfilling lives.

Although Dan primarily uses an insight-oriented treatment framework, he also uses other evidence-based treatments such as play-based therapy, attachment-based therapy, as well as cognitive and behavioural techniques at times when these may be helpful.

Dan also has specialised knowledge and experience in the assessment of Autism and ADHD, as well as supporting neuro-diverse people.
