She works collaboratively with her clients to identify their unique psychological goals, and tailors intervention using various evidence-based therapies.
Emma works mainly from an attachment and trauma framework. When Emma is not working in private practice, she is running group programs called the Circle of Security at a not-for-profit organisation. Circle of Security is a parenting course based on decades of attachment research. Circle of Security supports parents to respond to their child’s needs in a way that enhance their connection and allow for them to develop a secure relationship. In private practice,
Emma applies her experience and understanding of attachment by working with adults who have experienced trauma during their childhood and adolescent years.
